Autumn is in full swing over here and I wanted to share a few photos from the beautiful, rainy morning walk I took with the boys today along with the five pumpkins we carved last weekend. I still have no idea what the kids are going to be for Halloween, but Theo keeps mentioning E.T. so that’s a possibility? Maybe Stella will be Gertie and Alfie can be Elliot? Most likely it will be something thrown together last minute from odds and ends gathered from around the house. I hope you guys are enjoying this colorful season too!

  • Juliette - Very lovely photos. Your pictures are always warm and comforting. 🙂ReplyCancel

    • admin - Juliette, thank you for your kid words here. I always so appreciate when others take the time to hop over and find a bit of calm here. x AmandaReplyCancel

  • Carolyn - I love that you go on rainy walks. I think that’s the best type of weather to be outside. So much more *interesting* than a perfectly sunny day, don’t you think? Especially for kids’ imaginations (and mine!). I don’t know what my toddler will be for Halloween yet either … probably the pumpkin he was last year since it still fits. Or maybe an 80s track star since he loves running and will surely be flying down the street come Halloween night.ReplyCancel

    • admin - Carolyn, I so agree. I used to reserve our walks for only sunny and cheery weather, but the kids love the rainy/snowy ones the most! I must admit, I do too because then we get to come home and enjoy the comforts of warmth together. Hope you and your family had a great Halloween! An 80’s track star sounds darling. x AmandaReplyCancel
